Jungian Institute
Küsnacht
12 March 1959

In this chapter, Bekka and Hurta attend a lecture by Dr. Marie-Louise von Franz, and Bekka commences analysis with this former student and colleague of Carl Jung, with much healing, and not a few surprises. This induces changes in her everyday life, coming to terms with her Nazi past, and branching out into new areas of life; she writes to her mother, and she and Kalli visit Grandmamma and Schloss Rottenstein.
