Chapter Twenty-Four - Asylum
Chapter Twenty-Four
Asylum
Berlin
11 May 1945
In this chapter, the girls finally reach Berlin, and the safety of the British sector. There, they are first interrogated, which causes a disruption given their work and identities. But they are soon welcomed as members almost of staff, making themselves useful. Bekka has a welcome conversation with Otto, and is able to have Kalli properly baptised by a saintly Jesuit priest. Bekka meets a young woman with a baby also come from Dresden, and ponders the problem of the Lieutenant, who is sweet on her. She receives word of her assignment as a spy with MI6 and is not best pleased. She receives a new identity. Reichsfürher Himmler also is in British custody, but his time with them ends badly under highly dodgy circumstances, which they are quick to cover up. Bekka has a heart-to-heart talk with Lieutenant Brian.
British Headquarters:
General Ronald the Lord Weeks:
Last Flight From Berlin 1945 - The Reitsch-Von Greim Escape- from Dr. Mark Felton.
Martin Bormann Escape - A New Theory- Concerning Wolf's odious secretary. From Dr. Mark Felton
Reichstag Assault 1945 - by Dr. Mark Felton.
Reichstag Assault 1945 - by Dr. Mark Felton.
The Death of Himmler - The Complete Series -- by Dr. Mark Felton. A must-see.
The Death of Himmler -Important New Evidence - from Dr. Mark Felton. Very important evidence indeed, which contradicts everything in the official record; in the memoirs and intervews of Captain Eric Brown.
The Death of Heinrich Himmler-AI Bombshell stunning investigation regarding the differences (and missing scars) on the body photographed in the parlour of the death house in Lüneberg. Also, the premiere Chinese AI used in their 'social credits' system shows that body in the photos is not the Reichsfürher-SS.
Himmler's Mysterious Mistress - Why Did the CIA Protect Her? by Dr. Mark Felton. More of what Himmler knew and why 'he' was murdered.
SS-1; The Unlikely Death of Heinrich Himmler, by Hugh Thomas. An absolutely chilling book examining the plans of Himmler to survive, the forensics of the corpse at Lüneberg, and a bombshell from Eichmann, MI6, and the CIA. At least at Eichmann's trial in Jerusalem in 1962, Himmler was not deceased, and very possibly in Flensburg, meaning that he never left Germany. If this sounds suspiciously like Martin Bormann, declared dead when he was alive elsewhere, it should. I am reminded of my Sepp contact cryptically stating that 'they' had a way of disappearing people, declaring them dead when they were not.
Heinrich Himmler: Hitler's Architect of Terror a very good biographical documentary, using Himmler's own diaries, found in Russia in 2016.
The Truth Behind 'The Blitz Spirit' - The propganda of 'Keep Calm and Carry On' is very much post-war (2008!)
The Myth of the Clean Wehrmacht - documentary on the post-war creation of the myth that it was only the Waffen-SS that committed atrocities, so that many Nazis, as Bekka's boss, simply traded one master for another and got off scot-free, because the British and Americans wanted their knowledge and expertise. see also:
Operation Paperclip: Top-Secret U.S. Army Program to Recruit & Bring 1600 Nazi Scientists to America- Hypocrisy reigns.
Was Anything Useful Learned From WWII Human Experimentation? - From Simon Whistler/Decoding the Unknown. A long and disturbing video on what went on in the camps. This is what Bekka documented, among other things at the Gestapo, and what she reported to Brian. This is what she was listening to and focused on 'recording only the data.' Himmler's direct involvement is mentioned in some detail.
Hitler's Rudolf Hess Mystery Finally Solved in 2025 - a video discussing the results of the release of information after the expiry of the term of the British Official Secrets Act on his case. The SIS drugging him while in British custody to shut him up about what he knew about British involvement in his flight rings very true, as does the Soviets keeping him in Spandau to have a hold in West Berlin. The autopsy shows that he was murdered before hanging by a lamp cord.
