Chapter Ten War 1 October 1938 Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia   In this chapter, Wolf and Otto give interviews to the press, Wolf on the 'bother' of the Sudetenland, and Otto condemning the Nazi invasion of   Czechoslovakia. In Prague, Sophie, Fritz, and the children are put under house arrest, and in Vienna, Wolf has a meeting with Horthy at the Belvedere to divide up parts of  Czechoslovakia between the Reich and Hungary, its ally. Reinhard Heydrich is appointed Deputy Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, and a coup d'etat is planned against Wolf by the Wehrmacht. Sepp is allowed a divorce, but Ursula is not, even though she is pregnant, and Sepp expresses his ill opinion of the nascent Waffen-SS.
