Chapter Thirty-Five
Ich hatte eine böse
Vorahnung Habsburg, Brugg
April – November 1983
In this chapter, a newspaper interview goes horribly wrong, and Bekka is forced to take legal action. This, however, results in a reunion with Brian Fortescue, now a retired Colonel and former deputy head of MI6 in Berlin, and in an unexpected windfall, which benefits the Fount of Life Foundation. Her old bosses at the Gestapo are called as witnesses, with very different results. Brian and Bekka discuss the past, and their families.
